This is coming from a personality type that is renowned for their Resting Bitch Face.
I preface this because my natural inclination is to be deep in thought and the side effect is lack of care about what is happening visually.
Those that buy into the Myers Briggs Typology Indicator (MBTI) will be aware that the goal of this personality profiler is to ascribe the individual with a ‘Type’ that helps makes sense of themselves. Take the test here if interested.
I am an INTJ female.
As mentioned briefly in other posts I have written, INTJ’s can be summed up as ‘We Are Not For Everyone’.
We can come across abrasive, harsh, direct, opinionated. The whole anti-social lot.
However, due to our mix of overactive intuition and reliance on thinking rather than feeling, we look to our interpretation of societal norms to deduce what is necessary to ensure we can meet our basic needs.
This comes naturally for 80% of the population (generalized number), but for our 2% of population that make up INTJ’s, we are strange to the majority. And the majority is strange to us.
If INTJ’s are the minority then we are the one’s that need to make sense of this existence quickly. We do not have the luxury of cruising it through blissfully unaware. We need…
